Rosalind Creasy is a garden and food writer, photographer, lecturer, and landscape designer with a passion for beautiful vegetables and fruits and a conviction that gardening should be an ecologically positive endeavor. Her first book, the award- winning, The Complete Book of Edible Landscaping, was the driving force behind the concept of “Edible Landscaping,” now a part of the American vocabulary. Another ground breaking book, Cooking From The Garden, was published in 1988. It introduced the American public to the then unfamiliar heirloom tomatoes, mesclun salads, and edible flowers. Rosalind has since written 16 books on gardening and cooking; her newest is Edible Landscaping; published in 2010 and now in its 5th printing. Her recent projects include writing a children’s book about her husband’s rooster Mr. X, designing an edible landscape for the Adobe Corporation’s headquarters and as part of a landscaping team designing the 80 acres at the Seed Savers Exchange’s main campus in Iowa.
